The handwritten document, signed by Lady Mowlson, acknowledges that Thomas Weld received a £100 donation from Lady Mowlson to be used for the "maintenance of some poor scholler." The document was originally pasted into the "Wills, gifts and grants" volume, but was removed in 1944 and housed separately.
