The handwritten document, signed by Lady Mowlson, acknowledges that Thomas Weld received a £100 donation from Lady Mowlson to be used for the "maintenance of some poor scholler." The document was originally pasted into the "Wills, gifts and grants" volume, but was removed in 1944 and housed separately.

Scope and Contents Draft of a July 6, 1720 letter to Captain John Tallamy directing him to recover any debts "due to the sd Colledge, from any Person, in the Country of Boston & particularly on acct of a legacy or donation of John Doddridge." The bottom of the letter is no longer extant. A note on the verso mentions an accompanying letter granting Tallamy power of attorney to recover Doddridge's legacy; that letter is no longer with the item. Letter from President Willard to John Trumbull enclosing a copy of the Harvard Corporation's March 7, 1799 vote of thanks to Trumbull for two "valuable and interesting prints lately published by him." The framed prints were the "Battle of Bunker Hill" and "Death of Montgomery."
