Scope and Contents

This folio-sized bound volumes contains bound documents concerning gifts to Harvard. The bulk of the volume contains copies and extracts of wills, but also includes correspondence, account records and receipts. The volume is arranged as Miscellaneous, 1643-1838; Daniel Williams and Robert Boyle's legacies, 1721-1799; John Doddridge's legacy, 1720-1785; and Sarah Tyng Winslow's donation, 1790-1801. The last three sections include additional correspondence generated during the Harvard Corporation's attempts to collect on those legacies.

There is an index at the end of the volume.
