Letter on Université Libre de Bruxelles stationery suggests the author may be Belgian blues musician Daniel Droixhe, known as Elmore D.

The contents concern reimbursement of expenses for Southern's travel to a colloquium entitled "Images de l'African". The absence of the indicated form at the bottom of the page suggest it was filled out in reply.

Scope and Contents: Southern thanks Chattopadhyay for his praise of her book The Music of Black Americans : A History and congratulates him on his publication of a biography of Dr. Martin Luther King.
