Scope and Contents
Contains social invitations and correspondence to Bond family members and relatives, dated 1890-1897. Includes original and copied correspondence between Selina C. Bond and W. A. Cranch and James Cranch Willcocks of London, regarding the possible sale of a deed for the head of Oliver Cromwell to Horace Wilkinson. According to a copy of a letter from Selina C. Bond to Willcocks, the deed, dated April 1787, assigned ownership from Samuel Russell to James Cox. There is also a newspaper clipping and further correspondence about the head's provenance.
