Scope and Contents
Contains correspondence of the immediate and extended Bond family, mainly related to personal matters and social news, in additional to professional and financial endeavors, including Selina C. Bond's attempts to sell a deed for Oliver Cromwell’s supposed embalmed head, and a promotion at Harvard College Library for Sarah A.C. Bond. There is also some correspondence among William Cranch Bond, George P. Bond, and Richard F. Bond, regarding family and business matters, including the Harvard Observatory and William Bond & Son, and some correspondence not attributed to the Bond family.
