Scope and Contents:

Twleve minutes and twenty-five seconds of footage shows the Harvard baseball team members, staff, and their female guests visiting various places in Japan, including parks, such as Nara Park, and a temple. Also shows a crowd of mostly Japanese people bidding farewell to the Harvard team. Additionally, footage shows a baseball trophy ceremony between the Harvard University and Keio teams, and footage of baseball practices and games.

Two minutes and forty-five seconds of footage contains scenes of a Damai Baseball team practice, and appears to show American baseball players in Damai uniforms; these players are presumably Herb Hunter, Ty Cobb, Bob Shawkey, and Fred "Bootnose" Hofman. Also includes shots of a waterfront setting, with buildings, boats, and people; a view of mountains; and a man and a woman feeding caged monkeys.

Two minutes and forty-five seconds of footage shows a baseball game between teams from Keio University and Waseda University. Footage includes warm-ups and practice, members of the press, the crowd, as well as the teams in the dugout and on the field. Also includes the original film box.

Nine minutes and forty-five seconds of footage includes scenes aboard the S.S. Taiyo Maru. Baseball footage shows a marching band, as well as players from the United States and Japanese teams from Keio and Waseda Universities. Other footage shows an airplane flying in the sky, and scattered throughout the footage are several text slides with Japanese characters and some English words.
