Biographical / Historical

This event celebrated the creation of the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center through the joining of Beth Israel Hospital and Deaconess Hospital, and founding of the Mount Auburn Institute for Education and Research and formation of CareGroup. The Institute, a separately incorporated, non-profit organization, advances the teaching and research activities of HMS faculty based at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Mount Auburn Hospital and four additional hospitals from the former Pathway Network in the CARE Group network.
