Scope and Contents:

Consists chiefly of letters from Harvey Cushing to Frederic Woldenor Schreiber (1897-1959); there is also a small amount of correspondence with patients, a letter and a telegram from Louise Charlotte Eisenhardt (1891-1967) to Schreiber regarding Cushing's failing health and death, and Cushing's notes and sketches from two surgical operations on patient Mary Ellen Martin in 1928 and 1929.

Consists of a handwritten letter from Henry Dean "Hank" Moorman, Jr. to his parents describing his experience at the Boston City Hospital on the morning following the Cocoanut Grove nightclub fire in November of 1942. Moorman was a Harvard Medical School student at the time of the fire and was likely serving as an intern at the Boston City Hospital.

Hay & Sons. Also includes index of patients.

Consists of letters regarding "Neurotic," a medicine patented by George W. Holleman. Also includes receipts. Some letters are from Charles Carroll to Henry Bond. Most letters and receipts are from the Atlanta, Georgia area, from New Orleans, Louisiana, or from North Carolina.
