Scope and Contents The Elsie Maphis Lindsay recipe collection consists of typed and handwritten recipes organized in envelopes bound together in a volume. Recipes for different types of food, usually from a chef at a well-known American hotel, such as New York's Waldorf-Astoria, are printed on the front of each envelope.
