Scope and Contents

Contains assorted records from courses taught by Charles J. Ogletree, Jr. as a professor at the Harvard Law School. This includes course assignments, correspondence, reading materials, syllabi, and student work, as well as additional administrative, curriculum, and other student records. Courses with significant documentation include the Trial Advocacy Workshop. Please note that a large amount of material in this sub-series is closed due to university restrictions, as well as state and federal law. See the "Conditions Governing Access" note for individual folders for more specific information, when it is available.

The majority of the collection is in English but it also includes a small amount of Chinese and Hebrew language materials.

Access to these papers is governed by the rules and regulations of the Harvard Law School Library. Physical access to the collection is restricted for preservation purposes. The collection is in the process of being minimally arranged, described, and digitized. Digital content will be released and open to the public on a rolling basis.
