Scope and Contents
Panoramic photograph of the members of the Harvard ROTC taken in 1917. The photograph features 62 men dressed in uniform, half of whom are holding a rifle on the right sides. The inscription in the center of the photograph reads, “Company E . . . ROTC Harvard University . . . 1917.” The lower left-hand corner inscribes, “Falk Photo Co./767 Washington Street Boston.” No names are written on the photograph, but Leggett is probably pictured as the eleventh man from the left of the column. The photograph appears to have been taken in a fenced lot behind the Harvard Geological Museum.
