Account books and diaries, 1780-1800
Scope and Contents
This subseries contains two account books, which also contain some brief diary entries, as well as one loose leaf of a diary written in 1800. The account books contain detailed information about Shapleigh's daily expenses over the course of a decade, from the cost of food and clothing to the expenses incurred while traveling around New England.
