B. Peter Bent Brigham Hospital Twentieth Anniversary Reunion Lantern Slide Show, circa 1913–1933., 1913–1933.

Scope and Contents

Consists of 3x4 (inches) glass lantern slides (positive film sandwiched between glass plates and taped along the edges) intended for use in a “magic lantern” projector. This set includes some of the images presented by the graduate nurses at the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital Twentieth Anniversary Reunion Celebration in May of 1933. The show, narrated by Carrie M. Hall, RN, depicted “…scenes of the hospital, former members of the staff and nursing school, and some of those working at the hospital at the present time.” The slides are fragile and a few are cracked.
