D. Peter Bent Brigham Hospital School of Nursing Publications, 1920–2023.

Scope and Contents

Subseries XII-D includes catalogs for the School of Nursing from 1939 through 1984. The catalog was called the School of Nursing…Bulletin until 1951. The catalogs describe the school, the curriculum, and admission requirements. This subseries also contains issues of The Alumnae Journal beginning with Volume 1 no. 1 published in 1920, issued twice a year until the 1940s. The archives collection is incomplete. Samples of new student orientation booklets, and Peter Bent Brigham Hospital School of Nursing yearbooks are included here. Also included are issues of the newsletter for graduates of the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital School of Nursing. The newsletter began publication in 1947 under the name The Alumnae News. It was renamed the Alumni Association Newsletter sometime between 1959 and 1974.
