Contains copies of deeds of land and indentures held by Philadelphia merchant James Greenleaf in Connecticut and Georgia, bonds, promissory notes to John Coffin Jones and Jeffrey & Russell, and copies of deeds of Greenleaf granting them his shares of land in Virginia and New York, dated 1795-1796. Greenleaf signed over the deeds as part of a settlement over defaulted notes.
