Nathaniel Holmes, 1728-1774 Accounts current, bills, receipts, orders to pay, survey, account of stock, memoranda, estate and ships' papers. Items before 1735 reflect Holmes as "joyner", documents from 1735-1745 detail his distillery business, and records from the mid-1740s celebrate Holmes' increasing success as merchant.
