Scope and Contents
Papers of the prominent Boston, Massachusetts merchant shipping firm Cabot & Perkins, and related family members, 1812-1865. Included are invoices, receipts, agreements, copartnerships, sailor lists, and insurance policies. The firm of Cabot & Perkins was a partnership between Stephen Cabot, Thomas Greaves Cary, and Thomas Handasyd Perkins. There are some manuscripts signed by Daniel Webster.
