Bill of lading for three enslaved persons named Thomas, Adam and Eve shipped aboard the Schooner Packet from Charleston, South Carolina to New Orleans, Lousiana from Frances DeQuercron to merchant Victor Roumage, dated 1824 Ferbuary 6. Also included are affidavits submitted to justices of the peace by DuQuercron and Simon Verdier, who enslaved Thomas, testifying that to their knowledge he was not implicated in planning an 1822 slave insurrection in Charleston.
