Biography

Frederick T. Bush was born in Taunton, Mass. in 1815. In 1843 he was established in Hong Kong as partner in the firm Bush & Co. and as US Consul from 1845-1853. He lived in Weston, Massachusetts upon return from China, however was still engaged in the mercantile trade in the frim of Bush & Comstock with Samuel comstock. Bush died in 1887.
