The Harvard Fatigue Laboratory records, 1916-1952 (inclusive), 1941-1947 (bulk), consist of correspondence, research records, reports, writings and publications, photographs, and films, and are the product of the Lab's research and administrative activities.

Psychologist Elton Mayo was a professor and Head of the Department of Industrial Research at Harvard Business School. Types of materials included in this collection are professional and personal correspondence, research and teaching materials from HBS and abroad, writings and speeches.

The William Townsend Porter papers, 1851-1955, undated, provide a record of Porter's administrative, teaching, and research activities at Harvard Medical School, the establishment and operation of the Harvard Apparatus Company, and his personal life.
