Recordings collected by ethnomusicologist Laura Boulton between 1951 and 1969 primarily in Greece, Yugoslavia, Ethiopia, and various other countries. It consists primarily of Byzantine and other Orthodox Eastern church music and services from the liturgical cycles; it also contains folk and classical music, some of a religious nature, and miscellaneous commercial recordings and books.

Scope and Content Note: When first acquired in 2008, the collection was comprised of materials assembled by Alison Weinstock, a resident of the Boston area who maintains a website dedicated to the work of Rubén Blades. Since then Weinstock has forwarded additional materials acquired from Blades' friends in the music industry, as well as from Paula Campbell, Blades' girlfriend in the 1970s (the song Paula C was written about her). Scope and Contents:

This collection was donated to the Eda Kuhn Loeb Music Library at Harvard University by Joyce Mekeel in 1997. The collection primarily includes manuscript and printed scores, manuscript and printed parts, copies of scores, of Mekeel's compositions. Also included are sketches, notes on composition and performance, correspondence, concert announcements and programs, reviews, articles about the composer, composition and theory notebooks.
