1 linear feet (1 carton)This collection consists of four scrapbooks of Audry Lynch's college years, 1951-1955 which include invitations, programs, newsclippings, football programs, correspondence and articles by Lynch for the Radcliffe News. There are also photographs of Audry Lynch McKenna, student groups, and Catholic Club material.
BIOGRAPHY
Audry McKenna Lynch, of Catholic extraction, was born in Cambridge on July 18, 1933, the daughter of Joseph George and Helen E. McKenna. Her father was head of the science department of Cambridge High and Latin School., Lynch was graduated from Marycliff Academy, Winchester, Mass in 1951 and from Radcliffe College in 1955. At Radcliffe she concentrated first in English and then in Government. Her chief extra-curricular activities were writing for the Radcliffe News and membership in the Catholic Club. In her senior year she was President of the Club.
Lynch married Gregory Lynch in 1956 and they had three children. She received her EdM from Boston University in 1967. She has taught in nursery school, in High School and has been a Junior Guidance Counselor. She writes freelance for numerous newspapers.

This collection (part of Schlesinger Library acc. no. 83-M275), was given to the Library in December 1983 and by the Library to the Archives in July 1984. The collection was the gift of Audry McKenna Lynch.
