Notes, records and correspondence in connection with her work as Secretary of the Republican National Committee, 1948-1952, as Secretary of the Arrangements Committee for the Republican National Convention, 1952, and as Secretary of the Republican National Convention, 1952. Complete record of her work leading up to and including the Convention of 1952 (includes roll calls), also her work while on Eisenhower's personal staff during the Campaign of 1952. Also some record of her work in civil defense, 1954-1957. Speeches, etc. as United States Deputy Commissioner of the Brussels World's Fair-1958, 1957- ; record of activities for Nixon-Lodge volunteers of Mass. in 1960.

BIOGRAPHY

Katherine Graham Howard was active in the Republican party as secretary of the National Committee (1948-1952), as a staff member for Dwight Eisenhower during his 1952 campaign, and as a volunteer worker for the Nixon-Lodge ticket in Massachusetts during 1960. She was assistant administrator and then deputy administrator of the Federal Civil Defense Administration, a member of the Committee for Civil Defense of NATO, and United States Deputy Commissioner of the Brussels World's Fair during 1957 and 1958.
