Scope and Contents Collection consists of an undated ink drawing entitled Masculine and Feminine Courage Compared, from the "Statistics of Surgery. An Argument for the Female Suffragist," and a holiday card, ca.1967. The ink drawing depicts a woman calmly getting her leg amputated by a saw and a man struggling while getting a vaccination shot. The front of the card includes an etching designed by Lorraine Schneider, depicting a sunflower and the text "War Is Not Healthy for Children and Other Living Things."...
