BIOGRAPHY

Mardelle "Mardi" Elaine Springer Dean, daughter of Burdell Leonard and Marjorie Lucile Cuthbertson Springer, was born September 17, 1942, in Washington, DC. She attended the University of Tampa and Strayer University. An active member of La Leche League, Dean taught classes, lectured, and lead workshops on parenting and breastfeeding. She was married to Jonathan C. Dean; they had three sons. She died November 4, 2021.
