Scope and Contents
Collection contains a handwritten cookbook in German begun by Shaffer's aunt in 1912 when she was living in Vienna, Austria. It also contains a few recipes written in England during World War II and Buffalo, New York, in 1953, and a dedication to Shaffer from her grandmother, Etelka Steiner Herrmann.
