Scope and Contents
The collection consists of a volume entitled My Motor Log Book which includes details of Rosamond Thaxter's travels, mainly throughout New England. A trip in March and April 1927 to Washington DC; Charleston, South Carolina; and other states is also recorded. Thaxter records distances traveled, time spent in travel, weather, road conditions, travel companions, stops made and visits paid, and other details of automobile trips. The purchase of a new car on April 11, 1931 is also noted.
