Scope and Contents
Includes letter to minister and suffragist Adelaide Claflin asking for assistance in a private project. Blackwell was seeking volunteers to write letters to all 280 members of the Massachusetts Legislature in support of an upcoming municipal suffrage bill. Blackwell felt that it was important that The Women's Journal not be connected with the letters, but that they appear to be from random citizens; description of the letter from the donor.
