Scope and Contents
The collection consists of a diary describing in detail Larkin's ocean voyage and her travels through England Scotland, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, and France in 1868. (The diary begins with a passage apparently written by a Mr. John C. Gray, a fellow passenger who Larkin notes is "extremely agreeable and kind.")
