Access. The records are restricted under an agreement between the Schlesinger Library and Reproductive Equity NOW. Publications, minutes of annual meetings, mailings to members, and other material of a public nature are available for research.
The following types of the records are closed:
Financial records (in Series III and throughout) for 10 years after date of creation.
Board minutes (in Series I and throughout), executive committee records (throughout), and executive director's records (in Series II and throughout) for 20 years after date of creation; nomination committee records are closed (throughout) for 20 years after date of creation.
Personnel records (in Series I and throughout), contributor lists (in Series III and throughout), mailing lists (in Series IV and throughout), membership lists (in Series IV and throughout) for 50 years after date of creation.
Some folders throughout are closed due to personal or sensitive material.
