Biographical / Historical

Marguerite Wells (1872-1959) - civic leader. She was president of the Minnesota League of Women Voters (1922-1935); a member of the board of trustees of Smith College (1914-1930); vice president of the National League of Women Voters (1930-1932); chairman of legislation committee of National League of Women Voters (1932-1934); and president of National League of Women Voters (1933-1944).
