Biographical / Historical

Mary Van Kleeck (1883- ) - industrial sociologist. She conducted investigations of women in industry (1905-1909); was director in industrial studies, Russell Sage Foundation (1909-1948); associate director of International Industrial Relations Institute (1928-1948); director of the woman's branch of the industrial service section of Ordnance Department, Washington (January-July 1918).
