Anna Child Bird (1856-1942) - civic worker. She founded several civic societies. For many years she was the executive chairman of the Massachusetts Suffrage League. She was the first chairman of the Woman's Division of the State Republican Committee. In 1921 President Harding appointed Mrs. Bird to represent the Eastern States on his Advisory Committee to the American Delegation to the International Conference on Limitation of Armaments held in Washington.
