The Harvard University Graduate School of Education was established in 1920. Fund-raising activity predates the establishment of a dedicated Development Office.

Processing Information
This inventory, with contributions from Erin Clauss, was encoded and edited by Kate Bowers in April 2018 chiefly from a paper inventory on file in the Harvard University Archives reading room which consisted entirely of file lists provided by the Development Office. All folder titles were assigned by the Office and come chiefly from the paper inventory or from the folders themselves. The archivist provided additions to some folder titles to provide clarity or context; such additions appear within in square brackets. Portions of the inventory are redacted.
