Processing Information

K. A. Facos produced a list of the photographs and placed them in portfolio folders during the fall and winter of 1983; it is not known if the photos were reorganized at that time or simply kept in the order in which they were found.. Pencil annotations indicate the inventory was occasionally updated. It is unknown whether this means images were added or if these are merely corrections.

In July and August 2013, the 1983 inventory was transcribed from an annotated dot-matrix printout and converted to electronic form by James Moore and transformed into an archival finding aid by Kate Bowers.

Titles for individual images are chiefly concatenated from the 1983 list, which was printed in a nested tabular form. Collective titles were provided by the archivist. Any additional sources of title information are noted.
