An un-numbered issue of the Club's publication, Harvard Chinese Students Fortnightly, dating from April 1941, contains a history of Chinese students at Harvard University.
Documents include newsclippings, constitution, membership lists, minutes, financial information, photographs, and publications.
History of the Harvard Chinese Students' Club
The Harvard Chinese Students' Club held its first meeting 24 October 1908. The purpose of the Club was to give Chinese members of the Harvard student community an opportunity to socialize, discuss Chinese current events, and represent the Chinese people and their concerns to the wider Harvard community.
It is unclear when the Club disbanded as no records date from after 1946. A new Chinese students club, the Harvard-Radcliffe Chinese Students Association, was founded in the late 1960s and was still in existence as of 2008.

The Harvard Chinese Students' Club held its first meeting 24 October 1908. The purpose of the Club was to give Chinese members of the Harvard student community an opportunity to socialize, discuss Chinese current events, and represent the Chinese people and their concerns to the wider Harvard community.

Arrangement
Records are primarily contained in two volumes, which contain minutes, the constitution and by-laws, membership and officer lists, and financial information. Loose folders contain additional records, including newsclippings, minutes, roster of members, correspondence, and Chinese language materials collected by the Club.

Processing Information
The Records of the Harvard Chinese Students' Club were first classified and described in the Harvard University Archives shelflist prior to 1980. In July 2008, Juliana Kuipers re-processed the material. Re-processing included integrating and reorganizing the records, integrating new accessions, re-housing materials in appropriate containers, establishing a series and subseries hierarchy, and the creation of this inventory. All call numbers were simplified.
