Extent
.35 cubic feet (24 plates (1 box))This collection consists of 24 negative glass photographic plates, each measuring 9 x 7 inches. The images document Harvard College buildings and Harvard Square in Cambridge, Mass. Four of the images depict student groups, including a class portrait, the Harvard Natural History Society, the O.K. Society, and Phi Beta Kappa. The plates were used to produce photographic prints included in the Harvard College Class of 1867 album. The photographs were taken by an unidentified commercial photographer.
The collection was originally classified as HUV 2267.
Arrangement
The plates are arranged into two series: Exteriors and Student groups.
