Scope and Contents

Correspondence kept by Alexander Gerschenkron separate from General Correspondence Files. Includes correspondence with individuals, journals, societies and companies, especially the American Historical Review, Economic History Society, American Philosophical Society, Cambridge University Press, the Rand Corporation. Also, inter-Harvard University mail including Harvard University Press, the University Library Committee, the Russian Research Center and Economics Department. Series also comprises correspondence regarding re­views of manuscripts (by Gerschenkron) and European travel correspondence.
