Biographical note on George Partridge

George Partridge (1740-1828; Harvard AB 1762) was a teacher and politician from Duxbury, Massachusetts. He was a delegate from Massachusetts to the Continental Congress and served in the United States House of Representatives. Partridge studied theology as a Harvard undergraduate and his 1826 will included a bequest to the College to support theological education.
