Indenture between Harvard Corporation and Samuel Webber, 1802 May 11 Digital
Scope and Contents
Agreement by Samuel Webber to transfer copyright of a mathematics text he compiled to Harvard Corporation, dated May 11, 1802. The Corporation contracted Boston printers Thomas & Andrews to publish the two-volume text. A note by Webber at the end of the indenture acknowledges receipt of additional payment upon publication of a second edition in 1809.
