Copy of the will and codicil of Isaac Royall, dated May 26, 1778, which bequeathed 200 acres of land to Harvard College for the creation of a Royall Professorship of Law. Includes certificate of the Archbishop of Canterbury to register the will and qualify Royall's son-in-law, William Pepperell, as an executor.
