Biographical / Historical

A prominent Chicago newspaper and publicity photographer, Harry Alton Atwell (1879-1957) achieved renown for his circus photography. He also served as personal photographer for Theodore Roosevelt during his Bull Moose Party campaign to reclaim the presidency.
