Harvard Class of 1911 reunion memorabilia, 1936, 1946, 1961

Scope and Content

This series consists of materials pertaining to the twenty-fifth (1936) and fiftieth (1961) reunions of the Class of 1911, and a Harvard commencement ceremony program for 1946. The series includes eight pages from a photograph album (26 photographs) representing scenes and activities from the Class of 1911's twenty-fifth reunion. The photographs include images of Alton Miller, Miller's wife Mary in front of Hollis Hall; and photographs of Harvard Yard,Widener Library, Harvard Chapel, and alumni at Class Day and Harvard Stadium. Moreover, this series contains a number of items given to alumni for their use at the twenty-fifth reunion such as event programs, name badges, a hat band, windshield sticker, luggage tags, and a canvas bag. In addition, this series also includes a panoramic photograph of the Class of 1911 at their fiftieth reunion (1961, June 11-15).
