Letters and drawings from George Williamson to Marjorie Williamson, circa 1903-1904

Scope of letters and drawings

Eight letters from George Williamson to his younger sister Marjorie in England. Each letter includes whimsical illustrations, many depicting Marjorie's adventures at school. Although the letters were written while Williamson was an student at Harvard, they contain few references to his undergraduate experiences, focusing instead on his sister's life at school, family news, and popular culture references to songs and plays. The series also contains one sheet of drawings of Marjorie as well as an empty envelope addressed to Marjorie.
