This subseries contains eight letters received by Loammi Baldwin Jr. The correspondence consists of a letter from President Josiah Quincy discussing the dismissal of Baldwin's nephew from the College, two 1835 notifications of College meetings, three brief 1836 letters related to Baldwin's involvement in Harvard's Second Centennial Celebration, and two 1836 letters related to a request by a Harvard student's mother, Sarah King, for advice on her youngest son's professional future.
