Scope and Contents

Handwritten testimonies of students regarding the rebellion. Each student's statement was numbered, and sheets of paper were also assigned a number, as indicated in the list below.

  1. Number 6: Benjamin Bradshaw (No. 31, Class of 1769), Thomas Kast (No. 32 ad 33, Class of 1769), Samuel Osgood (No. 34, Class of 1770), and Nathaniel Harrington (No. 35, Class of 1769).
  2. Number 7: Jonathan Newell (No. 36, Class of 1770) and Samuel Phillips (No. 37, Class of 1771).
  3. Number 8: Daniel Rogers (No. 38, Class of 1771), Peter Coffin (No. 39, Class of 1769), Samuel Adams (No. 40, Class of 1770), Nehemiah Williams (No. 41, Class of 1769), Abraham Watson (No. 42, Class of 1771), James Blake (No. 43, Class of 1769), and Winthrop Sargent (No. 44, Class of 1771).
  4. Number 9: George Wheaton (No. 45, Class of 1769), Samuel Whiting (No. 46, Class of 1769), John Williams (No. 46a, Class of 1769), and John Gill (No. 46b, Class of 1771).
  5. Number 10: Michael Joy (No. 47, Class of 1771) and Benjamin Curtis (No. 48, Class of 1771).
