Biographical / Historical

German-American theologian and philospher Paul Johannes Tillich (1886-1965) taught at Harvard Divinity School from 1955-1962, receiving the title of University Professor. Author of The Courage to Be (1952) and Dynamics of Faith (1957), his accomplishments made him one of the most important theological influences of the 20th century.
