Scope and Contents

This series contains a document which lists both the expenses incurred by William Blair Townsend (the Hubbards' son-in-law) and Thomas Fayerweather for Thomas Hubbard's funeral and the accounts and receipts related to the estate of Mary Jackson Hubbard, following her death in 1774. It also contains a document related to the settlement of her estate; this document includes an inventory and appraisal of her household goods and furniture and an account of the income generated from a sale of her possessions. The series also contains a memorandum related to the compilation of the inventory.
