Scope and Contents
This series relates to Cambridge property purchases made by the Bordman family in the 18th century. The 1700s marked a time of land collection among Cambridge's prominent families, and it would not be until 1801 that the Bordmans would sell any of their Cambridge property.
Also included in the deeds of sale series are a deed for a furniture purchase (1736 May 8) and the purchase of an enslaved person named "Cuffy" (1716/7 January 1).
