Scope and Contents
The parchment-bound hardcover folio volume contains accounts for Fellows, Tutors, the President, and members of the Classes of 1703-1718. Payments were often made with bills of credit, money, and notes. The Steward's accounts with the College are interspersed in the volume.
"Andrew Bordman" inscribed on first page. The volume begins with an index of names.

Andrew Bordman II succeeded his father and grandfather in the position of Harvard Steward. Appointed to the position while in his early thirties, in March 1702/3, he held the position until his death on May 30, 1747. Along with his duties as Steward, Bordman worked as a saddler, and held civic positions in Cambridge including selectman, town clerk, and town treasurer.
